I drove into RIverside Park just in time to catch the 5:30 AM news on my car radio. We have a beautiful morning unfolding. 

I walked down to the pier past the security guard parked by Heritage House. He wished me a good morning and I said hello. I kept an eye out for squirrels. I could hear their chatter but none appeared for me.

At the end of the pier I took a long shot in each of the three directions. I got my mountains in the east, the bridge to the west and the confluence directly in front facing north. 

I headed for the office with my breakfast in hand. No word or sign of my new modem....I'll be on the phone again today. 

It will be a quiet day except for a brief meeting at the office this afternoon. My cranky feet are not up to much these days.
