We are drying out
after a wet weekend, but
the puddles remain...

I was up at 5 and out just before 6. I dawdled with some hope that the sky would brighten and I might see some sunshine.

I drove straight out to Tranquille and continued up the Red Lake Road to get a panorama of the delta. That space between the Thompson River and the east end of Kamloops Lake shows a lot of high water/flooding in adjacent fields.

I caught the first Air Canada flight out of our airport. I looked down to the lake to see a sailboat anchored in Cooney Bay. The area around the Tranquille Farm shows a lot of water remaining in fields.

I drove down the hill to the farm to check on the wetlands pond and to catch a look at the osprey. Only one visible this morning.

My panorama of the wetland ponds shows it's still outside its normal boundaries. We've had so much rain over the weekend, I expect it will remain so for a while yet.

The plumber arrived as he'd promised yesterday and completed the task required to have our flooring installed. I am very relieved and grateful.

Still no wifi in my house so I am dropping into our office for access. I call it hit and run. No time for comments until this is sorted. Apologies to my lovely followers on Blip.

I'm in for the day with some banking to do this afternoon,
