My boys tuned into the football which was another 2500 miles closer to home in the other direction 

Holy crap but that was a frustrating game.

It's difficult though, in the heat of a brief moment of action where something might happen, to maintain my 'somewhere between Kent and Carlisle' accent and you do see people glance round.
