Annual Pallet Coles

A cloudy calm morning, a windy but sunny afternoon and evening, warm too.

The morning tannoy announced at 630am, arrived in Lerwick at 730am and back in Scalloway by 745am.  Popped by Madeline's to fetch Sammy, she had bacon rolls ready too.  A morning unpacking, feeding the garden birds, checking the veg in the greenhouse etc.  Back to Lerwick for shopping.  Popped down to Laura's in the afternoon.  Met friend Julie for walkies this evening, and now a quiet night at home.

A lovely day to arrive back home, and by the looks of it people have been busy across the island with various outside jobs.  Me, Laura and the dogs headed out for a walk, and came by this croft, which has been busy making hay while the sun shines.  Seems like every year I snap a photo of this house with the coles of hay, but always miss them actually building them, maybe one year.  Taken at Clapphoull, Cunningsburgh.
