Christmas present from Carole

Carole sent this - she’d been at a concert by a vegan band from the Faroe Islands and bought it from them. Then thought it too offensive to give to anyone. Then thought of me.

I took this picture of Nathaniel with it - he’s recently become a vegetarian (on ethical grounds) and even declined a hot dog last night at the light trail. Needless to say Thomas and James did not find it funny. Especially as they all love Sandy, their rescue lurcher.

Today has been quiet. I didn’t even go out as it has rained most of the day and the temperature was 2 degrees. The house is cold with us having been away so I had a long bath with my book - no champagne this time. That could get to be an expensive habit.
