Artists, One and All

The glorious Fall weather is still with us. Hubby had a to do list but I asked him to go to some craft shows with me. The first one is called the Coastal Arts Market. It is located in a park by the bay. Such a lovely location. I could have bought something from each artist. But what I don’t need is “stuff” however beautiful it is. We went to the annual Unique Boutique, held at our fire department. We have so many talented artisans in our county. One of our friends is a basket maker. Many of her creations decorate our home. She had a new design, a kitchen utensil holder. It might be under the tree this Christmas. Brooklyn sent part of her wish list. We went by the store and purchased a few Puravida bracelets she mentioned. Proceeds go to ocean preservation. By now it was lunch time. We used a gift card and enjoyed a salad and half a sandwich. Yummy. We were both exhausted; took a 2.5 hour nap and missed 5:00 Mass. We’ll go tomorrow. What a relaxing and peaceful day we had. Hope your weekend began in the same way. Stay safe and healthy.
