“Millie and Me”
We had an extremely easy day. Millie got us up early but I was glad. Had to take meds at 4:30. Hubby moved to the Rec room to read in hopes of falling back to sleep. I did the same in bed; success for both of us until 8:00. I cleaned up things I neglected yesterday. Hubby worked outside with a ton of odd jobs (covering my tender veggies prior to tonight’s low temps, filled bird baths, got rid of trash, etc). I made a nice salad and Zucchini with sauce/cheese to go with Renee’s baked ziti. After lunch, hubby picked up groceries. Otherwise, my day was spent on the recliner with Millie and my MacBook. She is such a faithful kitty and quite therapeutic. I filled in the Christmas spreadsheet and developed a list of “still to purchase” items. Wednesday is going to be a big shopping day to attack this list and get everything else we’ll need for our 20+ days in WV. My sister and BIL will pick up our tubs and coolers on Thursday afternoon. The meds have made my life much better but still not 100%. We are so blessed to have such wonderful drugs at our disposal. I am allergic to many antibiotics so taking a new one is a bit worrisome but I have had no side effects so far. Hubby and I worked on getting a refund on an August 2022 Amazon order that I did not receive but was repeatedly promised was on the way. It was easy once we finally got to speak with a person. I am hoping it will be Kindle time soon. Hubby reviews books for certain writers. He got a new one to start on. We had an unusual weekend; hope yours was less dramatic. Stay safe. Thanks so much for your visit. “You can not look at a sleeping cat and feel tense.” – Jane Pauley
