A Moment in da Sunshine

A glorious day of sunshine.  A windy morning, but eased as the day went on, flat calm tonight. 

Got washing out this morning, and a spell in the greenhouse, before heading for my late shift in the airport.  A morning on the check-in desk, meeting flights in the afternoon, and then back to the check-in desk this evening.  A late finish due to Aberdeen being delayed.  A lovely night out for walkies with Sammy. 

I nipped out on my teatime break, and stopped off at the beach.  Being stuck indoors most of the day, it was great to catch some sunrays.  I sat myself down at the picnic table, and enjoyed my sandwich in peace.  Looking like a good week of weather ahead, long may it last.  Taken at West Voe beach, Sumburgh.
