Landslide of Incompetence

Windy again, but also sunny again.  Clouded over this evening.

Museum has been closed, but I've been in working, mostly helping the Wool Week team, and a few other jobs.  A missing person from south arrived on our door, thankfully the police have caught up with him and taken in safely.  Shetland drama film crew have been in again too, filming later in summer.  Some more gardening, mostly cleaning the potting shed, and then out for walkies.  Feet up now.

This past few months I've tried to not look at the destruction of our hills, caused by the Viking Energy Windfarm construction.  Lately it's got so big, and the damage is colossal, it can no longer be ignored.  The incompetence of VE and RJ MacLeod seem to be an ongoing issue.  The latest issues have been construction dust, and then this landslide.  They've been digging out enormous amounts of peat, and just piling it up on the hills, thus leading to a slide, and it's been dry for over a week!  More landslides will happen, with the hills now unstable.  Looking up to the 50m slide at the Snivel, Setter, Weisdale.
