behind the lens

Tom might not be best pleased with me for blipping him...he is a modest kind of man and most photographers prefer to stay on their side of the lens. But here he was, taking videos of us (the Samba Sisters) performing at Dumfries market Festival, and he let me take his photo.

Wherever there is live music in Dumfries, there you will find Tom. He is such a nice man. We had a good chat today.

Oh it felt SO good to be back performing with my Sisters! Big smiles on all our faces. Even if no-one had stopped to listen, we would have enjoyed ourselves. The sun shone (it was HOT!) and people seemed to appreciate our set. Usually at this time of year we would be playing every weekend at different galas around the region. Hopefully next year we will be doing that again :-)
