What a scorcher! It's been hot today, even in Scotland :-) I did some gardening early in the morning, but after that it was nicer to sit reading in the shade or to do some work indoors. Sarah and I took Jess to swim in the Cairn and then after lunch Joanna came and we took Jess for another cooling swim. It was lovely to stand watching her with our feet in the water.

I was able to give Joanna her birthday present at long last! I had ordered it back in May on Etsy from  FeklaFiona in Kyiv. I know that Joanna would be pleased that her gift supported an artist in Ukraine.
