While Jamie is away I will take the chance to catch up with friends I rarely see.   Today it was at the invite of a snowdrop enthusiast.  Oh, so many varieties .... great for playing 'Spot The Difference.'  With it's yellow markings this is one of a select group, a very select member of the yellows, this is Dryad Gold Sovereign.  The first one it's breeder released for sale on eBay went for £283.  Before you start hyperventilating at that, her most recent new release raised £1166 at the weekend!!!   Snowdrop madness indeed.

The best thing this afternoon was spending a few hours chatting with B and D.  Great company.  I also now have the recipe for D's mother's Rock Cakes which were delicious with a cuppa while we chatted.  First batch in the oven at home as I type :-)

Extra:  'Big Bertha' .... at £40 a cheap option!
Of course lots are simply swapped by the aficionados.
