Without Hesitation ....

Some of my earliest memories are of sitting in the kitchen with my Mum and listening to Peter Jones, Clement Freud, Derek Nimmo and Kenneth Williams on Just a Minute, hosted of course by Nicholas Parsons, rightly remembered as a Broadcasting Legend after his death today.  Fitting, then that I am staying with Mum .... but it was me cooking in that kitchen tonight.  In over fifty years the show never lost it's magic for me.  In another coincidence I have a box of cassette tapes in the car, on their way from my old home to the new one including recordings of the show from the Kenneth Williams years.  

My life may have deviated from my intended course in recent times and today, with Corydalis popovii, as the on last two days, I repeat subjects from previous blips, but I can say without hesitation that the show never lost it's appeal and Nicholas, you will be much missed.
