It's a Beautiful Blue

.... a phrase remembered from childhood.  Do you remember it too?

Iris histrio looking just fine in a cold frame this morning.

A bitty sort of day but a few things were progressed.  We will off to Southampton for an assessment meeting on Thursday.  A little anxious about it but everyone down there seems lovely.  

With apologies to my no-meat friends, the slow oven cooked lamb casserole, stuffed with root veg, was absolutely delicious at lunchtime.  This evening I was out to give a talk to a local garden club, the first of these in 2019.  Good to be back on the road.  Tired now though.
