After three years of storage frustration, we have decided to build ourselves a shed. Slighlty surprisingly conversations with the very helpful planning officers reveal no permission or warrant are required - subject to certain criteria we apparently meet - so we can move ahead. This is the space and Tricia is starting the groundwork. Don't expect it to happen all that quickly.
Contrary to my passport renewal process. I filled in the straightforward form online on Monday morning and posted the old passport at lunchtime. This morning I got an email to say the old passport had been received and an email in the afternoon to say my new passport was being dispatched. Blimey!
