More ringing

The decent weather continues and so does my ringing activities. Four and half hours yielded four birds... Activity is probably a strong word.
Here you can see me measuring the wing-length of a male Blackbird. Always quite interesting as the Blackbirds that spend the winter in the UK tend to be larger that the resident population - a fact revealed by ringers over the years.
The afternoon saw another Grimsay tea, albeit on a diet day. Birding highlight was two Snow Buntings on the way to the tea.
