Sporty day

Well, so far it's been a very exciting day for Team GB and not over yet with an evening of swimming to look forward to.

It's a bit of a cliche but this whole inspiration thing is working well in this family with the kids alternating watching Olympics and working through some activity sheets with playing badminton, tennis and volleyball in the garden. And requesting a bike ride. Anna was in charge of route as she is less experienced so we went through Chiswick House (here) and down to the river to do a circuit home. Lots of fun.

A couple of hours out of the house focused on work and I'm feeling pretty prepared for next week. And small amounts of clothes gathering and washing and we have edged a little closer to being ready to travel on Sunday.

And now it's time for my hourly badminton game with J.
