A slice of Lesley's life

A different view

[Monday morning]

Have changed this picture from yesterday as my late night laziness meant the picture was barely visible. This was taken earlier in the evening as the sun was setting on the field of barley stubble in the 'garden' of our friends' rented house. Technically the farmer next door probably likes to think of it as his.

Today started with packing and then heading southwards from our first friends and found our way to the second lot of friends. Successfully, despite wretched Richard the satnav man who tried to send us up a no entry road. At that point J took over the navigating and got us there.

The rest of the day has disappeared with lunch, chatting and the kids running around a lot in lovely open space which is so great for our city kids.

Now, there is wine to be drunk and crisps to be eaten so that's me sorted.
