A day out with Thomas

The last time we took Ethan to see "Thomas" was 8 months ago. Unlike last time when he had never been on a train before so didn't really know what to expect, this time he had been really excited when we told him!

Hubbie chose not to come this time so Grandpa came along instead. We went with Missus B and a couple of other mummy friends too. It was a beautiful day - the first non rainy day for ages, so that was perfect.

Ethan had such fun. As well as the train ride he went on the roundabout both times, the bouncy castle (quite an achievement as he hates bouncy castles, as was proved by the fact he only lasted 5 minutes before getting upset), ate homemade cakes from the cake stall, went on the minature railway, posed with "Thomas choochoo train" and waved at all the passengers going off on the next train journey!

After that exhausing day he slept in the car all the way home.

Granny arrived in the evening to pick Grandpa up while I spent the evening jetwashing the driveway and doing overtime. One of these days I'll get to sit down and relax!
