Daddy & Ethan day

Usually Granny & Grandpa look after Ethan on Fridays while hubbie & I are at work. However, they're on their holidays this week so hubbie took the day off work for his first every Daddy & Ethan day. (He was supposed to have his first whole day alone with Ethan a month or so ago but Grandpa ended up coming over to help out too as hubbie wasn't very well).

The day didn't get off to the best start when I got a phone call at work-
"Sarah where is the pushchair?"
"Errr ... that will be in the back of my car which is in my works carpark"
"Ok...I'll take him to the Heritage Centre then as can cope without the pushchair there. Where are the passes?"
"Errr ... they'll be in my handbag!"

Oh dear!

So he took him to Bounce & Tickle in the morning. It was hubbies first experience of it and he was the only Daddy there. I think it was nice for him to see what Ethan goes to every week though. He then took him for a walk around McArthur Glen and carried Ethan when he got too tired. A trip to Eliburn Park followed in the afternoon so it sounds like they were very busy. He did struggle to get Ethan to have any decent naps though.

My blip was going to be of the chaos which was my living room when I returned but hubbie had started tidying up when I went to get the camera. So, I've blipped Ethan on his ride along instead. Last time I blipped him on it he would sit on it or push it along. But he has recently figured out he can sit on it and move it backwards or forwards with his feet so it's a whole new game these days!
