Resting

I have done SO much walking today, way more than my joints are happy with and they are seriously complaining!

Ben has had two exhausting days with very little sleep during them, and as a result has not been entirely dry at night. Today, therefore, was Laundry Day. Three trips to the laundrette (two duvets plus all the sheets) plus a jaunt into town (which was mainly successful: a bagful of pound coins from the bank to put into the big washing machine and the tumble driers, new pants and socks for Ben, and a new bra ordered for me! I can't believe every time I have been in for a new bra they have not had ANY in my size (in the range I want) in the last three visits so I have ordered one at last) and finally a walk to the chip shop and I am tuckered out.

This was us after the third trip down to the laundrette. Ben happily fell asleep in the buggy and rather than bring him inside while we waited for Steve to come home so we could go out and buy our chippy dinner I sat outside in the sunshine and breeze with him. And then decided to see if I could finally figure out how to attach the camera to the tripod so I could take a picture of us! Can't believe I've not managed to figure that out until now. Mind you, I rarely use the tripod. I use the gorillapod or a beanbag (or a scarf!) normally. Can't usually be bothered with getting the tripod out. And - success!

Look at those eyelashes though. And the sprinkling of freckles just peeking through on his cheekbones. Since he's had his haircut I can see Steve in him more and more. SO cute.

I have forgotten pretty much everything I was thinking of writing today so that will have to do! And I have not done any status updates on FB today to remind me what I've been thinking... that's most unlike me. Ah well. Maybe it's a good thing ;0)
