Born in Cumbria (or Cumberland as it was then) but have lived in Lancashire for the last 20+ years, with diversions along the way that took me to Newcastle, wales, and Bedfordshire

2012 was a massive year for me and my family. I was a Games Maker at the London Olympics
, and carried The Olympic Torch. As if that wasn't enough it was our Son's GCSE year and we celebrated our Silver Wedding in Sept
I wanted to capture as much of 2012 as I possibly could. I summarised it on 30 December 2012 in my blip.

2013 was an eventful year and 1 I will remember for 1 experience only. Again, there is a summary in my entry for 30th December.

2014 had many highlights, the biggest being volunteering at Glasgow 2014. My plan to run more failed but I did so many other things.
