Inspired by Blip

Well, the fallout from yesterday has begun.
So I needed a change of scenery by the end of today. And I've been meaning to blip here for a while as I pass it twice a day most days.

Today's blip is of the old port at Lytham.

Back in the 19th century there was a thriving port with up to 400+ ships a year docking here to offload coal and other goods for the nearby town.

The old timber posts of the jettys are still to be seen, though the channel has silted up considerably.

I have a number of effects on the camera on my phone so today's blip has been influenced by some of the clever things I have seen on Blip.
