Wrea Green in the Sunshine

Wrea Green is often described as the archi-type English Village.

A picture postcard village green with the duck pond (known locally as the Dub), and to the right a cricket pitch and football pitch.

The Post Office overlooks the Green and to the left is the Church. Also to the left, next to the Church is the village pub, The Grapes.

During the summer, 500+ runners ov vaying abilities will run past this spot as they complete the Freckleton Half Marathon
