Technology isn't everything

After yesterday's blip extolling the virtues of technology, things are little more down to earth today.

We constantly get challenged in education to make us of IT, and indeed today's lesson had its fair share: computers, iPads and mobile phones all used to find information.

And yet it was a simple diagram on paper using two coloured pens that brought it all to life for the students. They even took photographs on their phones to remind them later.

The diagram shows the flow of lymph into a lymph node. there are more vessels going in than coming out. So as the lymph goes it, it is slowed down so the node can filter it. It then sorts out the recyclable materials from the waste and sends it off to where it needs to go.
