I have been taking photographs for around 20 years but more or less had to quite after problems with diabetes and kidney failure. I had a kidney and pancreas transplant on 31 January 2010 and thankfully I am starting to get out and about again and making up for all the time lost during my illness.

I have been taking photographs for around 20 years but more or less had to quite after problems with diabetes and kidney failure. I had a kidney and pancreas transplant on 31 January 2010 and thankfully I am starting to get out and about again and making up for all the time lost during my illness.
This wouldn't have been possible without the Surgeons, Specialists, Nurses etc at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle. These people are incredible at what they do and I just can't thank them enough for fixing me and allowing me to continue to take photographs.
