Push a Little Button

When Granny & Granndpa were staying with us over Christmas, Grandpa kept playing this to Ethan. Funnily enough, Ethan does appear to have got quite hooked on the song! When I put it on YouTube for him earlier, he climbed up on the footstool and watched it with his nose glued to the tv! He also then discovered (I think for the first time) how to switch the tv on and off which was quite apt considernig the name of the song!

Had a really nice day today. Although he woke up far too early for my liking (6am), after a couple of hours playtime in my room he fell back asleep in my bed. I curled up beside him and napped for 1/2 hour before getting up but he carried on sleeping for nearly 2 hours! Typically we were supposed to be meeting friends at Tumblezone at 11am and by the time he woke up it was a rush job to make it on time. Unfortunately one of my friends couldn't make it after all as she had to wait in for the boiler repair man but we had a fab time with my other pal and her wee girl.

Ethan clearly enjoyed himself on the play frames. He was climbing up the steps really confidently and after a hesitant start, even crawled over the mesh areas multiple times. The best bit though was when he discovered a tunnel that freaked him out a few months ago. Today there was no stopping him crawling back and forth through it!

As soon as we left, Ethan fell asleep in his carseat. So instead of going home I stopped by The Centre so he could continue napping in the pushchair while I had a wander. Well, that was the plan until a car alarm went off just as I was transferring him into the pushchair and he woke up! I still managed to windowshop for a couple of hours before he got bored though and we headed home.

Hubbie working late again tonight so won't see Ethan again today. :-(

(Can I finish by saying a huge "Thank you" to everyone who left me such lovely comments on my anniversary blip yesterday. I will try to thank everyone in person but could take a while to have the time)!
