.....Happy New Year......

Most of us wish for changes in the New Year, well for these two there's going to be a huge change,.

19 weeks from now they're going to be parents and their whole world is going to change........and I'm going to be a Grandad, as several of my colleagues informed me in their text messages last night.

We had a good night at D & V's last night but I'm starting to pay for it now. Got to bed around 3.30 a.m. and got up at 8, don't know why because the daughter didn't come home until 4.30 and the Boss was in unconscious mode. Eventually I woke them both at about 11.00 and cooked a full English, just like on Christmas day.

Breakfast over I watched the Utd v WBA match and then took the Daughter to collect her car. 4.30ish the Son & Heir and Young Helen turned up and we ate around 6.00. They've just gone 10.00 and I'm starting to flag, but if I go to bed now I'll be awake again about 4 a.m. and we're driving to see the dad's tomorrow. So I have to soldier on for a couple of hours yet.

Won't be able to blip tomorrow as the Boss's dad doesn't own a computer but will try and blip from my dad's on Monday and again on Monday night when we get home............and that's it.........holiday over.....back to the grindstone.....and the relentless pressure of waiting for our inspection.
