In the bleak mid winter

Oops, I forgot it's still officially autumn until tomorrow!

More snow again today - in fact it's been snowing pretty much all day here. I had planned to take Kerr to the childminder today and go off and enjoy a lunch out child free with my friend. No such luck! It would have been silly to take the car out just for that, so instead we have been stuck indoors, again! I did manage to get through a mountain of ironing though, and we are about to go and bak a cake.

The baby sledge arrived this afternoon. We tried it out briefly but then got caught in a blizzard and scurried home again! It's rather good, and will be even better when the snow is more hard packed and not so fluffy and deep. Kerr toppled over in it once but I quickly picked him up and we were off again. I took some photos of him in it but he looked pretty cold and miserable so didn't use them for a blip.
