Keeping warm

We had another indoors day today, due to more snow falling on and off all day. This was taken at about 7.30am when kerrsdaddy and Fudge returned from their morning walk.

Cabin fever is beginning to set in, but I don't want to moan about being stuck in the house, because I know a lot of people who wish they were indoors but still have to struggle to get to work. Seeing as all the laundry is up to date (wonders will never cease!), Kerr and I put up all the Christmas decorations today, and the tree. It's the earliest we have ever put our tree up, usually we are faffing around in mid December trying to get organised!

We didn't venture out in the sledge today because it hardly stopped snowing all day and is kind of too deep and fluffy to be able to pull Kerr along without him getting soaked.

It now looks like we won't get out with the sledge tomorrow either because we have a little lodger staying with us tonight - cousin Lucy. Unfortunately her big sister Abigail had to be admitted to Yorkhill tonight (hopefully nothing too serious for those who know her history) and will be in for a couple of nights. Kerr was super happy when Uncle Stephen brought Lucy to our house this evening, and the pair of them were running around squealing with excitement. Thankfully they both dropped off to sleep (in the same room) after 5 minutes of putting them to bed. I'm hoping for a quiet night!
