Hoppy Days

Snuggle up

Still quite snowy here today, and lucky for me I am on annual leave this week! Kerrsdaddy ended up working from home due to bus and rail disruptions, so Kerr and I tried our best to be relatively quiet in the house.

We snuggled up on the sofa and watched Nina and The Neurons on iplayer under the 'magic shawl'. It is really a fleecy blanket, but kerrsdaddy named it the magic shawl because every time I go under it I fall asleep - mostly in the days before we had Kerr though, sleeping during the day now is a very rare thing!

I did venture out with the car this afternoon, and took Kerr for his 13 month assessment at the baby clinic. He is almost 15 months now, so it was a bit overdue. It mainly consisted of the Health Visitor asking me questions re his development. She was asking if he said any words yet, and right on queue he said 'hiya!' to the lady who was weighing the babies. He then walked over to the radiator, touched it and declared 'hot' before marching out the door and me having to chase him along the corridor. She started asking him animal noises but he refused to cooperate, typical! He says 'Baaa' for sheep and 'tweet tweet' for birdies. He can also do noises for ducks, dog and cows but only if he is really in the mood, which was obviously not today.

Kerr weighed 23lbs 11oz today (with clothes and nappy on) and measured 80cm.
