Morning Sunshine!

Trying to count his fingers, sitting on the back of the sofa in the window in the morning sunshine.

An early blip today as it's such a beautiful morning. Hopefully some friends coming over this afternoon for cake and playtime, if not then we'll take the trike down to the park so Ben can have a play while the weather is fine. Don't see any sense in trying to get him to sleep early this afternoon, the afternoon after a nursery morning is all over the place sleep-wise!

Moved the cotbed back into our bedroom this morning. It seems a shame not to finish the main decorating in Ben's room, so that's this week's objective. Then we can all move in and start sorting our big bedroom out ready for the big tools to move in, and get the plastering done and the woodwork and hopefully get the fireplace sorted out and the mantle. My parents have said they'll come and stay a weekend later on this month to help with a big push to maybe get the bathroom tiled or something, it's good of them considering their breakfastroom is in total upheaval after they decided it would be a good time to take the chimney breast out!! Dad has learnt that too much hammer-drilling makes your drill-hand and arm pretty much useless, and so Mum has learnt bricklaying and plastering.

Washing up and a quick whip-round to tidy all the bits away, then off to pick Ben up.
