Gulliver, newly groomed

Gulliver's groomer has come and gone, and now he is standing out front by the driveway, watching for Bob's car to come down the street.

I spent several hours at the hospital today getting an IV medication that brought my heart rate back to normal from some astronomically high rate. It worked, for which I am thankful, and I'm only a little more tired than usual as a result. Then Bob came home from a meeting at the church with the news that the guitar player for our contemporary service had a stroke today, and doctors told his wife he would probably not recognize her again. As the saying goes, "You complain because you have no shoes, and then you meet a man who has no feet." We need to be thankful each day for our many blessings.
