Next generation of rock guitarists

Our granddaughter and son came over for Sunday lunch today. A pleasant time was had by all, although cooking the dinner was a little pressurised and the washing up afterwards a chore. Isn't it always?

She has always had a very good memory of things to do here and asks for marbles, bricks, toy farm, recorder, guitar and so on. Here she is, with an appropriate hair style, strumming away on Susan's guitar. She had a peep on a recorder too but never got any further than a one or two note tootle. Perhaps she'd like to have a go at playing the ukelele? It's the instrument many young people begin playing and makes a great sound.

Cold and frosty this evening when we went out for our walk, but it was invigorating and helped unwind at the end of a busy day.
