House all decorated for Christmas

Very busy day today. Didn't syop until we sat down after dinner in the evening.

The morning was spend tidying and cleaning the house, getting Christmas decorations down from the loft, trips to the supermarket for a few things and the papers and to the allotment for vegetables.

As Susan did the decorations I dusted and was on bathroon duty, washed chopped, peeled and cooked lotsa vegetables for tomorrow's dinner and made tonight's dinner.

At about 5.30 it was nearly all done so we had time to go for a short walk, visiting Doreen before coming home to dinner and phew, relaxation. This shot was taken using a combination of DSLR and iPhone. I used the gentle torchlight function on the iPhone's HDR3 app to give a little more light to the scene. Flash was too harsh and didn't do the lovely display justice.

Not going to be much better for poor old Sue tomorrow either = another busy day for her while I'm down on the railway.
