Christmas card and decoration

Barbara and David arrived last night from Edinburgh for a flying visit. Today, Susan was out with her sister Christmas shopping for most of the middle part of the day while I got on with the continuing myriad of things to do at home.

By the time she arrived home the dinner was in the oven and everything was ready for the evening meal, so we went out for a quick walk before the three of them came down.

It was an early finish to the evening as they had a long journey in front of them tomorrow back up to Edinburgh and I had an early start to catch the 7.02 train to Victoria for a conference.
