Enjoying the bay

A glorious day in Sharm El Sheikh. Shimmering blue skies and high high temperatures

After a leisurely breakfast it was time to walk out of the port and down to the bay. It was quiet. Hotels lined the beachfront and the rich sand gleamed.

I struck a good bargain on a sunhat and then a drink in one of the bars before strolling back.

In between giving rides, this friendly camel happily posed.

Minerva, a duly famous English country house type of cruise ship, was moored alongside and we were all invited to see how beautifully she has been refurbished. Seriously tempted.

Back to Voyager for a cup of tea and then the sunset.

Oh, and a cocktail party, dinner and a game of Bridge. So hectic.
