The "Whistle Walkers"

It is Wednesday and 21 of us set out for a 10 mile circular from Hedley on the Hill, ably led by Peter. (We have our eyes on him for walk leading in the festivals next year.) Despite the forecast we had only a brief shower which was no bother at all. Our American friend BJ was with us; she is the one who always calls us the Whistle Walkers.

It was a varied walk through fields, on tracks and through woods. Here you see a first - we are tackling a maize field with Caroline leading the way.

North of Tyne Photo Group in Bellingham tonight. We will have a Christmas exhibition, sadly when I will be in Vienna (can't complain about that though).

Tomorrow I plan to do nothing.
