"Mummy, I've got egg cups"

"Mummy I've got egg cups!"
That's what Squidge said to me this morning whilst hiccuping!!!

Is this age brilliant or what!? I just love the way her little mind works and she is such a chatterbox. Literally never stops talking.

Take tonight, after doing a Big Shop earlier, I really couldn't be bothered to cook (typical, why is that?) so ended up in the chippy for tea. Squidge was fascinated in there and gave the customers a running commentary of everything on her mind.

"Man talking"
"Ooh money"
"Chips on picture"
"Sausages Mummy, I see sausages"
"What's that lady doing?"
"What's that boy doing?"
"Boy gone home"
Etc etc.

It's so comical! And highly entertaining. She had the whole place in stiches!

Had a really busy work day. Wrote two press releases and a proposal with not much let up in between. It was wonderful to be working from home as the rain lashed down though. Was all cosy in my office with my cuppa. Bliss.
