Hidden gems

Am a bit in love with Manchester at the moment. It's such an amazing city and in the past few years that I've lived here I've really got to know it and it's crazy districts and back streets. I love a good short cut too and will often change into my trainers for a good yomp across town rather than using public transport.

This is one of my favourite cut throughs behind King Street. Angus showed it me when we first moved to Manchester from Nottingham six years ago and I've used it ever since. The suspended umbrellas make me smile. Northern humour considering we're known for our rain.
