Two Years! Wahoo!

Two years of Blipping! 730 days without missing a single one. I can’t believe I did it. Blipfoto became a commitment of sorts. I wanted to know if I could stick with it. Then a funny thing happened. I made friends. People from all over the world became more than just another Blip to see and comment on. I looked forward to seeing their photos and reading their journals.

I love traveling and this felt like a form of traveling without leaving my sofa. I learned different phrases and words and traditions. I loved it. The Blipfoto website is so easy to navigate and I can keep all my friends in one place to scroll through each day. There is no annoying advertising or pop-ups to get in your way.
You get so much support when people comment on your photo or journal. It’s helped me to see what other people like and therefore it helps me to vary my photographs. Now I’m a better photographer than I used to be. You look at everything around you as a potential Blip. There is no other site that is devoted to taking just one picture a day. Sometimes is hard to choose just one picture and other times you are searching for something to photograph to help you remember that day. In the end you have a year’s worth of memories. I have a 365 book and I like looking through it. I now have enough Blips for a second book.

Best of all is waking up in the morning and having messages from my fellow blippers from across the Atlantic and beyond.
