Squeezing it all in

First, I have to thank everyone who stopped by with well wishes, congratulations, stars and hearts yesterday. Every single comment meant the world to me. Celebrating two years of Blipping was fun. I was thrilled yesterday afternoon when I hit the spotlight too. Thank you again!

Today, even though all the kids have gone back to school and the lifeguards are no longer on duty, I went to the beach. It was a muggy, hot day at home but at the beach it was beautiful. Swimming in the ocean felt so good. Sitting on the beach without the usual crowds was a pleasure.
I caught a shot of this guy who was having a staring contest with me. I like the way the waves were breaking in the background. I decided this would be my blip.

We stayed on the beach until we heard some thunder in the distance. By the time we packed up and made our way to the boardwalk the thunder had stopped and the sky was clear. We sat on one of the benches on the boardwalk facing the sea and waited a while longer before leaving. It was a really nice day.
