Blue Skies and salt

Today I could not believe how blue the sky was. The clouds looked like someone had come along with a paintbrush and painted them in small quick strokes. It was just a beautiful day.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a salt room. Yes, salt. This unique salt room uses state of the art halo generators to crush Himalayan Crystal salt into small particles for inhalation. Himalayan salt has over 80 minerals. My sister and I walked into the room, no shoes allowed, and we stepped right onto crushed salt that felt like walking on the beach. We sat in anti-gravity chairs and admired this dimly lit room with walls, covered in thick salt. There was spa music playing in the background and the white-noise hum of the vent that blew microscopic salt into the air. It is supposed to reproduce the effects of being in a salt mine.
You wear comfortable clothes, socks, no jewelry or contact lenses allowed. I leaned back in the chair until I was horizontal, listening to the soft music and within minutes, and I was asleep. It was so relaxing. You get a full 45 minutes in the room. It is like forced relaxation but with health benefits. Of course, I woke up to my sister standing over me taking my picture with her phone! She was laughing because apparently she had taken quite a few of me sleeping which was creepy looking. LOL Have you ever seen yourself sleeping? It is weird. She does not relax as easily as I do although she said she did dose off for a while. I will get her back next time though! There will be a next time because I really enjoyed the whole experience.
I blipped a shot of the blue sky today as I was sitting in my sister’s yard.
