Windy and Wild

Our beach day today was a wild one.  I think the sea and air were trying to give us a hint that summer is nearly over.  The sea was wild looking.  You would think a storm was brewing the way the waves kept coming in frequent and fast.  The spray of the crashing waves gave off a mist and the wind blew the sand around so that we were covered in it.  However, it was not raining and the sun got brighter as the day went on so we hung in there and stayed for the day.
The water was warm and felt so good.  It was only coming out of the water and walking to get your towel that made you curse.  The lifeguards had their work cut out for them today but they did a great job. 
All that fresh air made me sleeping on the way home but luckily I got a second wind and my warm shower felt wonderful.  Time for bed now but tomorrow I plan to clean off my desk.  For anyone who knows me, you know that is a load of crap because I have been saying I will clean off forever and never get to it.  Well I have to have hope....
