Mono Monday...Food. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Breakfast: A quick treat before a 5 mile hike. An English muffin, spread with Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's, topped with bananas. A sign at Trader Joe's warns you that the cookie butter might be addicting. They're right...it's delicious. Kind of like peanut butter with a twist of ginger snaps.

Lunch: The BEST bean soup in the business...my sister Terrie's. With corn bread. 'Nuff said.

Dinner: Chicken and veggies. My oven-baked fried chicken...along with carrots, green beans, onions, green peppers, celery, and summer squash. Very good (if I can get away with saying so.)

WAY back...since I was a grade-schooler,
I've loved my Boston Coolers.
So...just before we hit the sack...
we have ourselves a little snack.

In case you didn't know...a Boston Cooler is vanilla ice cream, mixed with ginger ale. Kind of like a root beer float, substituting Vernors for the root beer.
