Saved by the Bell

In the aftermath of my sisters move from the country to the city...somebody had to take Grandpa Harty's dinner bell. So...the bell be at my house.

Back in the old days, us kids would be scattered in the garden, or climbing the weeping willow tree...Grandma would have dinner ready...somebody would ring the bell...and everybody would come running. Trust me...you NEVER wanted to be late for Grannies meals...'cause they were always good.

Speaking of Saved by the Bell, that was a CLASSIC TV comedy show which aired from 1989-1993. A CLASSIC! I thought the ensemble cast of Zack, Slater, Lisa, Jessie, Kelly, and Screech were better than the cast of Cheers, better than Friends, better than Taxi, better than Barney Miller, and yes...even better than Seinfeld. Wonderful plots and storylines, and tremendous acting. Who could ask for anything more? They just don't make TV shows like that anymore.

Believe what you may of my drivel of the TV show...but the huge heavy metal bell IS in my backyard. ;0)
