Goats Going Home

The view from my bedroom door this afternoon, as I sat reading.

Highlight of today was, without doubt, our Sunday lunch out. We went to a recommended restaurant and each had a steak of the local mirandesa breed of cattle - they were simply delicious and about 5cm thick. And then I had a tart made of figs, almonds and algarrobas, a seed pod I never knew existed outside of the NE of Brazil.
