Red Squirrel

As we were leaving the Campsite, saw this red squirrel in the road - it was still warm. Such a shame.

Only about 140,000 of them left in the UK, mostly in Scotland. Here in the I of W, they are protected from the grey squirrel by the Solent, but still a struggle to stop the continuing destruction of the woodland they need - incredible.
