i just got done - doing a study about them - with my little book club - it's with a group of darling women who live in the condos - where i reside - we began to gather - about 8 months ago - have gotten through 2 books now - this particular study was interesting - only because the author was not quite as light-hearted with the topic - as the rest of us had hoped he would be - that said - we did learn things about angels - we didn't realize - and were thrilled with our new knowledge about them - did you know angels...

-are mentioned 108 times in the old testament & 165 times in the new testament
-angels fought battles for men
-angels protect us (psalm 91:11-12 "for he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways...")
-angels empower us (luke 22:43 "then an angel appeared to him from heaven, strengthening him")
-angels could be anybody - (hebrews 13:2 says, "do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.")


we learned many more things - obviously - which are too numerous to mention here - there is no doubt - i believe in angels - and if you believe, the most enthralling thing - is that in the end days - a whole army of angels will come - with the sound of the trumpet, with jesus - won't that be something to see - thousands of angels - belonging to god - filling the skies - i believe that will make for...
