Evening German class in Heaton

This is Heaton complex which is a community centre in a previous school on Trewitt Road in Heaton, Eastern Newcastle. I am really interested in how it looks with it's old "Girls" sign on the entrance and old red brick buildings. Inside it looks similar to my old junior school which was sadly demolished to make room for a new modern one. It would have been about 150 years old if it was still standing. Whilst in the old fashioned classrooms I often wonder who was taught here when the school was new and how old they'll be now.

For the past year I've had my Tuesday evening German class here. Unfortunately, the council only funds adult education at "beginner" level to get people "into" education but then after the beginners year there is no more funding, so there'll be no lessons at intermediate level anymore. I'll be disappointed when the classes come to an end. The teacher is talking about private classes instead but not sure if they'll go ahead, I'll probably need to find a new college for more advanced German lessons.
